There are different styles of claw machines, notably the Japanese with two claws and the Korean variants that typically feature three claws. The gameplay involves displaying various items within a transparent container, where players insert coins or tokens to initiate the game and attempt to grab the items by controlling the claw. Initially, these machines predominantly featured plush dolls, which led to the common term “Doll Claw Machine.” Despite the introduction of assorted items like watches, keychains, and even seafood, the traditional name has persisted, primarily because plush toys continue to be favored by children and young audiences.
