Well, not all teachers have been to teacher training schools. But good teachers have a good background of specialized training in their subject areas.You don’t just become a teacher. An educated teacher is a respected teacher.Training to become a teacher enables you to learn the ropes in the profession. You get to learn what is required from you and you get to discover that teaching is not just about standing in front of students in a learning room. But with the relevant training background, it will be the most enjoyable experience for someone with teaching credentials of a kindergarten teacher.Many institutions training in teaching give their students a teaching experience by way of practical lessons before they are finally certified to become teachers. Usually students are released to have the teaching experience by way of teaching practice in the learning environment.As a trained teacher, you also get to earn more than an untrained counterpart. In fact, untrained teachers may be looked upon with contempt and usually earn a meager wage. Usually in many developing countries, untrained teachers are employed by school management boards since they are not recognized by the relevant Government authorities. Governments only recognize teachers who are certified with relevant teaching credentials under their stipulated credential program in accredited training institutions. Many governments have different salaries for teachers who are trained at various levels. Usually teachers trained at the Degree level earn a higher salary than those with Diploma certificates and of course enjoy more benefits as well.
