In the present day, education has become one of the basic needs in India along with food, water and clothing. Non-governmental organizations are putting in a lot of efforts to spread free education in India. NGOs are created by people who wish to see the country prosper and walk alongside the developed nations like USA, England, etc. There are a variety of programs introduced by them that support the core areas which need to be developed for the country to change its present state.One of the programs introduced by the NGO in India is that of the education of slum children. The main aim of this program is to spread education among children and bring up the literacy ratio in the country. This will further help as children will be able to bring development to the country. There are different projects put up by the India NGO that helps to spread further knowledge about children education. In India, there are regional areas where education is not considered as important and children at the age of 10-12 years are seen working in fields, small hotels, etc. This affects the young minds as they are not able to enjoy their lives as they spend most of the day working in order to support their family. The students in college are collecting funds to support slum education so that they can receive better education and contribute towards the country’s progress. This spreads a social message among the citizens and makes them realize the importance of education among children.Citizens are willing to offer social service in India by contributing towards the education of the youth. This helps children to cope up with their educational needs and creates a stress-free environment and makes the world a happy place to live.
